Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC defender Duke Lacroix and forward Ronaldo Damus were selected for the Haiti Men’s National Team on Monday night for the country’s upcoming Concacaf Nations League contests against Aruba, both of which will be played at Trinidad Stadium, Oranjestad in Aruba on Saturday, October 12 and Tuesday, October 15.

Lacroix retains his place in the squad having started in Haiti’s 4-1 victory against Puerto Rico in September. The 30-year-old has made four senior national team appearances since his debut last year while featuring prominently for the Switchbacks over the past two campaigns. This season, Lacroix has won 26 tackles at a 76.5 percent success rate and has a passing accuracy rate of 81.2 percent.

Damus earns a recall to the squad after most recently appearing for Les Grenadiers in 2021. The 25-year-old has made seven appearances for Haiti in his career, and this season has had another strong campaign in the Championship after joining the Switchbacks on loan from Swedish club GIF Sundsvall. Damus is tied for sixth in the Championship with 12 goals this season – six of which have come from the penalty spot – and has recorded 45 goals in 93 appearances across the regular season and playoffs overall in his career.

Haiti is currently on top of Group C in League B of the Concacaf Nations League with two wins from two games as the side pursues an automatic berth in the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup and promotion to League A for the next edition of the tournament.
