Tampa Bay Rowdies vs. North Carolina FC relocated to WakeMed Soccer Park

Eastern Conference rivals will meet in North Carolina due to impact of Hurricanes Helene, Milton; Rowdies’ contest against Hartford rescheduled to October 23

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Rowdies and USL Championship announced on Tuesday the Rowdies’ scheduled contest against North Carolina FC on Saturday, Oct. 19 will be played at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C., due to the impacts of Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

The match will kick off at 5 p.m. ET and be open to the public, and available to stream on ESPN+. The Rowdies will also host an official Watch Party at Colony Grill on Central Ave in Downtown St Petersburg.

Fans who purchased tickets for the October 19 match at Al Lang Stadium will be contacted by a member of the Rowdies Ticket Sales staff. Rowdies Season Ticket Members will be contacted by their service representative.

Additionally, the league and the Rowdies announced the club’s contest against Hartford Athletic, originally scheduled for September 28, had been rescheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 23.  A venue for the match against Hartford, as well as the Rowdies’ regular season finale against Indy Eleven on Saturday, Oct. 26, will be announced at a later date.
